About The project
What is Vriksh
As our final concept we decided to build a wayfinding system where the installation we create will not be just be an idle structure but a part of the daily navigation of the workplace. Here when a person enters the workplace a streak of light guides their way to our installation which illuminates as a whole and when they check in with their identity cards or biometrics the direction towards their personal workplace lights up .

Overview
Brief and about the client
BRIEF
Develop and create an immersive installation on the theme of ‘Forest’ incorporating multisensory interaction as an exemplary pitch to festivals , corporate spaces , and events furthering the ethos and practice of Forest Design Labs .
MY TAKE ON BRIEF
My goal is to design and create an immersive installation for Forest Design Labs that aligns with their ethos of their values , well being , and multidisciplinary design . This installation should engage users through multisensory installation . This installation will be positioned as a standout piece for corporate spaces , and events demonstrating Forest Design Labs innovative approach to design .
ABOUT THE BRAND
They create immersive, multisensory installations transforming spaces. By translating forest neural networks into responsive art, we ignite creativity, foster well-being, and redefine human connection with nature, cultivating environments for ground breaking ideas.

"From roots to response: touch ignites sight and sound. This multisensory installation fosters inclusive connection, visualizing the flow of ideas and workplace energy."
Inspiration

The image of roots represents the unseen but essential processes that support growth. In the workplace, roots could symbolize the professional development journey of employees—growth starts from foundational skills
Roots are the anchors of any plant or tree, symbolizing the strength that comes from a solid foundation. In the workplace context, this could emphasize the importance of core values, mission, and teamwork that hold the organization steady.
Roots are naturally intertwined and interconnected, representing how everything within an ecosystem is related. In the workplace, this symbolizes the interdependency between team members, departments, and functions

Interconnection and Inclusivity
Proximity
Roots grow near one another, symbolizing proximity, support, and a sense of belonging. In a workplace setting, this could be about fostering closer relationships and collaboration among employees, even across hierarchical levels

Stage 2 : Define

This concept entails any contact within an electrical filed around the model to trigger an automated visual or text through LED matrix . An interactive workspace installation for MNCs to portray how the nervous system function to create new ideas .
combining the main three senses to create an inclusive experience for all users where touch would be the trigger factor to instigate sound and visual .

RESPONSE - STIMULI MODEL (final concept)
FLOW THROUGH RESPONSE
A visual installation which is not attached to any triggered factor that represents flow and operational value of a workplace .

🌳Neuroscience of nature
💡 Creative Cognition
✨Immersive Experience Design
Explored how forest patterns and biophilic design reduce stress and enhance cognitive function.
Researched environments that stimulate divergent thinking and problem-solving.
Analyzed successful installations to create emotional, memorable interactions.
Stage 1 : Empathise
Understanding connection, creativity and cognitive being
To design something truly useful that fosters this installation, we delved into the profound link between nature, peace, and human potential through deep research.

Our process began by Empathizing with user needs for creativity and well-being, researching forest neural networks. This helped Define the core goal: translating nature's intelligence into an immersive installation. Ideation centered on multisensory interactions – responsive visuals, soundscapes, and intuitive feedback. We developed a Prototype through iterative technical builds, testing generative art and sensor technologies. Finally, Testing with participants validated the immersive experience and its impact on fostering connection, creativity, and well-being.
